Dear Reader,
It’s easy, to obsess about the past and to long for the future.
But, it’s here in the present that we have the only moments where time touches eternity.
Choose how you spend it wisely.
If your thoughts float between the past and future and never stop in the present, there is so much we can miss.
The beauty of following the Lord absolutely holds so much in both past and future—in what He brings us out of and what He promises to come.
But what about here? What about this moment?
Maybe you have a strong call on your life and you’re on fire for Jesus—ready to go and do work for the kingdom.
Maybe you long for a marriage, a child, a new job opportunity… a deep desire you’ve brought before the Lord.
The space we rest in, of the “not yet,” and the “wait.” Has immeasurable value. How loving is our Lord that He would take this time to place you in preparation for what’s to come?
What is it to sit back and abide in the Lord? Instead of obsessing about what’s to come, the question you could begin to ask is, What does He want to do with you in this moment before the next?
It is our choice in how we spend what limited time we are given here on earth.
How will you spend it?
Tomorrow isn't promised, but we have this moment—and in this space, what could the Lord do in your heart?
Don't hold back for later. Don’t put off the intentional time you spend with the Lord or people you love.
Don't close your heart against the intimacy and healing He holds for you.
Whatever tomorrow holds, you have time to be with the Lord today.
Choose wisely.

Local friends! We are preparing to pour into you with another NIGHT OF HOPE!
Doors open at 6pm, event starts at 6:30pm. Join us for a powerful night of worship and ministry! If you need a miracle, encouragement, deliverance, healing, or a special prayer request you do not want to miss this event.
There will be many opportunities for personal ministry. We want to see the Brainerd lakes area come ALIVE in Christ. And one of the best ways to do that is to SEEK the Lord, and minister to one another.
This event is FREE. There will NOT be any childcare available, however, your whole family is welcome to join us for the main event.
There will be a powerful time of worship, preaching, and then prayers for healing, deliverance and the infamous prayer lines!

It feels like an understatement to say that "Our battle is not against flesh and blood". The spiritual war that rages on around us and affects us more than we realize, is because there are higher stakes than we understand.
God's plan is being revealed as history unfolds. What began as one people, were eventually handed over by God to other spiritual beings at the tower of Babel, due to their rebellion against God.
And yet God had a plan. Through Abraham He would call a people unto Himself....a plan to take the nations back from the powers of darkness.... back into ONE people.
But what was this plan? And why didn't the evil principalities see it coming?

We are here because we understand what it’s like to crave intimacy with God. We built this ministry out of a belief that we’re always growing and becoming more aware of Christ working in and through us. In 2011, Awakening Hope Ministries was born out of the overwhelming passion that God has put in us to use the gifts He has given us to impact the body of Christ and to be a witness to the world. Our mission is to preach the uncompromising Word of God, worship with abandon, pray, and minister to anyone willing to receive.
