Dear Reader,
Knee to knee ministry touches our hearts in the deepest ways. January has left us kicking off in a busy rush of events with a focus on praying and prophesying over every single person that came. We felt as if we were standing in Acts 2, gathering in homes, the presence of our Savior evident in the laughter ringing across the room and the joy that embraced us. We LOVE to do ministry with friends.
When we step out to bless others, one of the most unexpected and beautiful parts has been how much it blesses us when we see God at work in the heart of another.
We watched arms heal and hope begin to burn in the hearts of the weary. How can we doubt the love of God when He so tenderly meets us where we are at and seeks to speak to us individually?
We saw this play out before our eyes when a young mother and her sweet baby girl were brought to our team for prayer. We had never met her before and had no idea what her life story was. Dean scooped up the baby and as our team started to pray for her, he prayed over the baby and spoke life over her. The Lord spoke through our team and gave encouraging prophetic words to the mother. It was as if new breath, new life, was filling up the room. The mother was weeping and asked if she could take a photo of Dean with her baby. Later, the young woman messaged us to let us know that she had never been held by her father, and in that moment it felt as if both she and the baby were being held.
We can never anticipate the ways the Lord will work through us to reach His children.
Starting with these meetings has left us so eager to see what the year will bring and all the souls that will be brought in with the harvest.

Don’t worry, men, we didn’t forget you!
Did you know statistically less than 10% of men feel like they have close friends they could call on at any time they need?
Part of the problem is we (as men) have a tendency to suffer in survival mode. We desire deep friendships with other men, but we rarely take the time to invest in it.
Sometimes we feel guilty for having a “guys night”, and even if we tried it’s hard to find others that are available.
The result is we all feel alone.
That’s one of the main reason this event exists. To get men in the same room, talking about life, God, and really manly stuff 🤣

What is Awakening Hope Ministries?
We are here because we understand what it’s like to crave intimacy with God. We built this ministry out of a belief that we’re always growing and becoming more aware of Christ working in and through us. In 2011, Awakening Hope Ministries was born out of the overwhelming passion that God has put in us to use the gifts He has given us to impact the body of Christ and to be a witness to the world. Our mission is to preach the uncompromising Word of God, worship with abandon, pray, and minister to anyone willing to receive.
